The Spanish Tour

 

The Pyrenees are a vast and wild mountain range that separates the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of Europe. No where on the continent is the scenery more varied, the plants and wildlife more exotic than in these remote and scarcely populated mountains. From the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, the Spanish Tour will lead you through the vineyards and into the mountains. Sheer cliffs, amazing views, deep gorges, dark forests and barren deserts will have you wondering whether you’re still in Europe – or have you strayed onto the set of a western movie?

Along the way the dusty tracks will lead us through ghost villages, along beautiful lakes, over the mountain tops and into picturesque towns. You’ll experience all this and more on the Spanish Tour. Be prepared: these mountains are wild!

Your chance to experience a true adventure in the Pyrenees as we check out the tracks for the summer! Winter often leaves remote mountain tracks blocked with the remains of snow or landslides. We’ll never know what will wait for us around the next corner. This is not a trip for the faint hearted! The weather can be changing and the roads can be treacherous - but the mountain flora in full spring bloom will more than make up for this!
