The Italian Tour

 

The Alps are always a firm favourite in our calendar and not without reason. Spectacular mountain scenery, fantastic views, seemingly endless tracks, spooky forts and bunkers, typical Italian hospitality, wine and pasta. The Italian Tour has it all and more!

A typical day in the Alps will have you watch marmots taking in the morning sun while you have breakfast, then amble down a bumpy track that’ll lead into a quaint village to stock up on fresh bread and local produce. Later in the day you’ll be driving along a challenging mountain track that’ll wind up and up until you finally arrive at a hidden fort built into the mountain. You’ll gaze in awe at the Alpine panorama in front of you then set off with your torch to explore the remains of the bunker, hoping for the exclusive artefact as you climb down into the dark secret structure. If you’re brave you might fancy a swim in one of the turquoise coloured lakes that we pass by. But be warned: they’re cold! You’ll finish the day in one of our remote mountain camps sitting around the fire at night playing “spot the satellite”. Ask anyone who has been: truly the experience of a lifetime!
